APPLIES ONLY FOR DIVE GROUPS:
– Equipment:
Have it ready in your dive net and place it on the racks under the name of the boat that corresponds to you (the distribution is indicated on the board at the entrance of the hold).
If they allow us, we will take them to the boats and assemble them, however, the responsibility for the equipment and its revision is of each diver (AFTER EACH DIVE, EACH DIVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING THEIR
FOR WOLF ISLAND CAMPING ONLY.
EQUIPMENT IN YOUR NET; SO WE WILL AVOID CONFUSION OR LOSSES).
Camping equipment, clothes and other luggage that should not get wet, should be placed next to the entrance of the tent (the one in front of the dock and the entrance to Puerto Lobos) and the staff will take it to the cargo boat (“VITA”).
– Ballast:
Exclusively with the staff in charge of the hold in the hold. Sign for receipt.
In case of loss, each pound of ballast costs $80 and the belt $588 (which costs us). The price is due to the fact that the weights are made with an antimony alloy, which makes them rigid and prevents them from being abused.
The belts are numbered to avoid confusion; so do not forget the number of the belt you borrowed.
The captain will have extra weight and belt; if you borrow any, ask for it back at the end of the day’s diving because they are responsible for the extra weight of your boat.
THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL ON ISLA LOBOS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. ALL STAFF MEMBERS ARE AUTHORIZED TO CONFISCATE IT IN CASE OF NON-COMPLIANCE (CAPTAINS, SAILORS, DIVE MASTERS, ETC.). IF PERSISTENT, VIOLATORS WILL BE RETURNED TO PTO. LOBOS IMMEDIATELY.
WE ARE OPEN TO COMMENTS ABOUT OUR SERVICE. IF YOU FEEL WE HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB AND WOULD LIKE TO LEAVE A TIP, PLEASE CONTACT VIRY, SAUL OR LILI (TIPS ARE SHARED AMONG ALL STAFF MEMBERS).
DELIVERY OF REGISTRATION FORM AND DISCLAIMER OF RESPONSIBILITIES. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE FILLING IN THE INFORMATION. FILL IN ALL FIELDS. CHECK CREDENTIAL NUMBER AND PHOTO.
IN CASE DIVERS DO NOT HAVE THEIR CREDENTIAL, THE INSTRUCTOR MUST SIGN FOR THEM.

Smoking is prohibited inside the boat.
If you need to move inside the boat during the trip, let the captain know so that he/she can slow down and indicate the right time to do so.
Special care when leaving the sea exit: The captain will notify us of the conditions of the swell (if it is high) to hold on, be attentive and take precautions.
The captain always has the last word.
Each boat may carry no more than two Hawaiian slings (one for the guide and the second for a diver who knows how to handle it).
INFORMATION FOR HOSTS DURING THE DIVE
– Indicate which side of the boat and how to enter the water.
– It is forbidden to board the boat with the equipment on, as this endangers the safety of the diver and the crew.
– Indicate the side of the boat through which we will pass the equipment and how we will do it (ballast, vest and finally fins, STRICTLY IN THAT ORDER: THE CREW WILL NOT RECEIVE EQUIPMENT IF THEY DO NOT DELIVER THE BALLAST FIRST), as well as where we will climb back on board.
-When passing equipment to crew members, do so in an orderly manner, carefully and pay attention in case the tank or a piece of equipment slips. (Once again, we remind you that it is the responsibility of each crewmember to keep his or her equipment in order to avoid mishaps.
– The crew will be in charge of changing tanks (unless someone wishes to do it themselves), however, checking the equipment before entering the water is the responsibility of each diver.
– We suggest that you do not wear visors on your forehead because it is very easy to lose them.
– We are not responsible for cameras or computers, we will receive and handle them with great care, but the customer will assume the risk and cover the full cost of replacement or repair of these.
– If the rental equipment is lost or broken, the cost of repair or replacement must be covered.
– There will be a break of no less than one hour and 15 min. for refreshments (this time is considered within the surface interval, so it starts counting when you get out of the water. Once again, we kindly ask you to BE ON TIME).
– Remember that the best way to take care of your equipment is to store it in your network immediately to avoid loss and to make transporting it easier. Leave the equipment stowed and ready before starting the trip back to Puerto Lobos.
INFORMATION FOR GUESTS RETURNING TO PTO. LOBOS LOBOS
– No one moves until the vessel is moored to the dock and the captain authorizes us to get up.
– The staff will be in charge of taking the equipment to the racks for each guest to rinse theirs. Try to leave your belongings together before getting off the boat so that they can be taken to the racks.
FOR DIVERS ONLY
– The weight belts stays on the boat, except for those who need to reconsider their weight; in that case they should report to the captain to adjust the amount of weights as they deem necessary.
– The captain is obliged to request back daily the borrowed ballast.
– The tubs in front of the racks will be ready with fresh water to rinse the equipment.
– We have a tank with water for cameras and computers.
INFORMATION FOR HOSTS ARRIVING AT ISLA LOBOS FOR CAMPING.
Upon arrival at the dock:
Once the captain authorizes us to disembark, the crew will take the dry and camping luggage to the camping area; meanwhile, a member of the staff will give a briefing on the rules of behavior inside the island. After listening to him, if you want to go ahead with your tent to choose a place you can do it, the camping area is very spacious, so feel free to choose the place you want.
To set up the tents in the camp:
– Be careful not to place the tent directly under a palm tree, as coconuts can fall off and cause serious damage.
– Be especially careful not to camp on ant hills or leave uncovered food inside the tent, as this attracts ants.
– Although there are very few, be careful also with scorpions.
– In the camping area we must avoid unnecessary disturbances; do not amplify loud music, avoid making loud noises or using intense lights. Preferably use red lights.
– There should be silence at 10 pm sharp. WE ASK YOU TO RESPECT THE REST OF PEOPLE AND WILDLIFE.
INFORMATION FOR GUESTS ABOUT THE ISLAND
The PNA was declared a Flora and Fauna Protection Area for the Lobos-Tuxpan Reef System in 2009, and is made up of 7 emergent platform reefs, a non-emergent reef, and the sandy key called Lobos Island. The ANP is home to a great biodiversity, including 28 species of corals, 244 species of fish and 4 species of turtles, among others, and represents an important feeding, reproduction and breeding site for numerous native and migratory species, so the protection of the area is a priority for its preservation.
It is our duty and responsibility to be aware of the value of reef ecosystems and to maintain at all times an attitude of respect for the environment so that our activities result in the least possible impact.
– Walk only within the specified areas: moving outside of these areas is prohibited.
– Deposit all garbage you generate in the bags or deposits designated for this purpose.
– Use the assigned latrines.
– Do not use sunscreen, suntan lotion or oils, and if you do, make sure they are designed not to harm corals, and apply them at least half an hour before entering the water.
– When observing flora and fauna: keep a safe distance and be careful not to touch, harass or stress them. Be especially cautious when such animals are engaged in feeding or breeding activities. Do not feed the native fauna and try not to damage the vegetation.
– Collecting or appropriating any type of flora and fauna, organic, archeological, and fossilized remains found in a federally protected natural area may constitute a serious crime.
– Ingesting or carrying any alcoholic beverage or any drug is prohibited during the activities.
SCHEDULES:
Schedules for activities will depend on the operation, so please consider the importance of being punctual.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ELECTRONIC ITEMS. THE CREW TRIES TO TAKE CARE OF THEM AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, BUT THE RESPONSIBILITY LIES ENTIRELY WITH THE DIVERS. CONSIDER THAT SUCH EQUIPMENT IS MORE SENSITIVE TO DAMAGE AND TAKE SPECIAL CARE WITH IT.
