Isla Lobos is the northernmost island within the mexican borders of Gulf of México. It is located 18 nautic miles from the fishermen’s town of Tamiahua, in the Veracruz province. Because of its wealth in fauna, fish and coral reefs, it was declared a natural protected area on June 5th, 2009.
